What you'll see#
A chapter title you can rename inline, a live word and character count, and a save status indicator. Start typing — there's nothing to configure first.
Autosave#
Your writing saves automatically about a second after you stop typing. The status indicator next to your word count shows Saving…, Saved, or a clear message if you've gone offline.
When you need help#
Open the Ask AI panel for a short continuation, feedback on a passage, or help when you don't know what happens next — see "The In-Editor Writing Assistant" for all seven actions.
