Manuscript & Chapters
The manuscript is a rich-text editor styled as a page, organized into chapters you create and reorder yourself.

Chapters#
Add a chapter from your book's overview page. Each chapter has its own title, status (planned, draft, revising, final, complete), and word count. The chapter navigator in the editor sidebar lists every chapter with a live word count, so you can jump between them without leaving the editor.
Writing#
Formatting support includes bold, italic, underline, headings, and blockquotes. Autosave runs automatically a little over a second after you stop typing, with a status indicator (Saving… / Saved / Offline / error) next to your word count.
Page settings#
Open "Page settings" in the editor toolbar to choose a page size (Letter, A4, A5), typeface, appearance (paper, sepia, or dark), font size, line height, and how chapter headings are styled (Classic, Numbered, Title, Number + Title, or Minimal). These are saved on this device only — see "Manuscript Settings" for more.
