Creating a book#
- Go to My Books and choose to create a new book.
- Give it a title and pick a genre — everything else can be added or changed later.
- You'll land on the book's overview page, which becomes your home base for that story.
What you'll find on the overview page#
Title, cover, genre, status, description, word and chapter counts, and quick counts of your characters, locations, and plot points once you've added any. A "Continue Writing" button takes you to whichever chapter you edited most recently.
Visibility starts private#
Every new book starts Private — visible only to you. You choose if and when to change that; see "Stories & Visibility" for the four levels and what each one actually does.
